Endemic to Hawaii. The most endangered marine animals in the world with less than 1,500 in Hawaii. This is Kaimana . Her mother Rocky gave birth to her on a crowded Waikiki beach where both mother and daughter stayed for 42 days. Here Kaimana is on her own and about 3 -4 months old. She played peek-a-boo with me.
